Debt money from India used for SLPP’s political campaign: Sajith (VIDEO)

Date:

Leader of the Opposition Sajith Premadasa speaking in Parliament today (22) alleged that a plan is being undertaken to launch a programme selecting a Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) member from each village at a total count of 14,000 villages in Sri Lanka and opening shops by using a portion of the debt obtained from India.

The government is taking steps to provide coupons to SLPP members to enable them to purchase goods from these shops, Premadasa revealed.

What would be the government’s measure on behalf of the people of Sri Lanka on the condition of every person living in it being devastated by the catastrophe befallen the country, the Opposition Leader questioned, alleging that instead of providing solutions to them the country is being sacrificed for narrow political strategies.
