Outdoor concerts banned amid Covid allowed to continue

Outdoor concerts, which were suspended due to the Covid-19 situation, will be allowed to continue. Inspector General of Police (IGP) C.D. Wickramaratne has issued instructions to all Police stations in this regard.

The concerts ought to be held in compliance with the Health Guidelines adhered to a specific time-frame.

Accordingly, outdoor concerts will be allowed on Mondays and Thursdays until 10 p.m. These concerts are allowed on Fridays and Saturdays until 1am and on Sundays until 12.30pm.
