ADB agrees to pay for Sinopharm vaccine purchased from China

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has agreed to pay for the Sinopharm vaccine doses purchased from China, said State Minister of Production, Supply and Regulation of Pharmaceuticals Channa Jayasumana.

Accordingly, Sri Lanka is set to receive an amount of US$ 85 million from the ADB to settle the payments for the Covid vaccine.
