Wijayadasa Rajapaksa hands over the 21A proposal to the Speaker (VIDEO)

Dr. Wijayadasa Rajapaksa, Member of Parliament has submitted a motion to the Speaker to repeal the 20th Amendment to the Constitution and re-enact parts of the 19th Amendment to the Constitution.

It was introduced in Parliament by President’s Counsel Dr. Wijayadasa Rajapaksa and is referred to as the 21st Amendment to the Constitution.

Rajapaksa had handed it over on behalf of the independent SLFP and SLPP MPs in Parliament.
