Terror at Rambukkana: Court orders to arrest all Police officers accused of involvement

The Kegalle Magistrate Court today has ordered the arrest of all Police personnel accused of involvement in the April 19 shooting at a public protest in Rambukkana killing one.

Accordingly, all Police personnel involved from the point of making the order to open fire to carrying out the shooting be arrested and produced before Court, the Kegalle Magistrate Court ordered the Inspector General of Police (IGP).

The protest in Rambukkana was held due to fuel not being distributed properly.
