Scott Morrison sworn in as Australia’s new Prime Minister

Treasurer Scott Morrison has been sworn in as Australia’s new Prime Minister to replace Malcolm Turnbull, the former Prime Minister.

Scott Morrison won the vote held to elect the new Prime Minister 45-40 against Peter Dutton, Home Affairs Minister.

The leadership dispute began Tuesday when Peter Dutton challenged Malcolm Turnbull and lost a vote 35-48.
