Several State and deputy ministers sworn in today

Two new state ministers and five Deputy Ministers were sworn in before President Maithripala Sirisena today (12) at the Presidential Secretariat.

Accordingly, Ranjith Aluvihare was sworn in as State Minister of Tourism Development and Christian Religious Affairs. Lucky Jayawardena was sworn in as State Minister of Hill Country New Villages Infrastructure and Community Development.

MP Ajith Mannapperuma was sworn in as the Deputy Minister of Environment and Angajan Ramanathan had been sworn in as Deputy Minister of Agriculture. He is member of United People's Freedom Alliance.

Kader Masthan (UPFA) joined the cabinet of the national government as the Deputy Minister of Resettlement, Rehabilitation, Northern Development and Hindu Religious Affairs

Mr. Edward Gunasekera was sworn in as the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs and Wayamba Development and Mr. Nalin Bandara was sworn in as the Deputy Minister of Public Administration and Management, Law and Order.
