Minister of Power, Energy and Business Development, Ravi Karunanayake has paid attention to finished and ongoing Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) projects.
The minister inquired about the progress of CEB projects when he met with senior officials of the CEB including Additional General Managers, Deputy General Managers, Chief Engineers, Project Directors and Project Managers, yesterday (9) at the Ministry of Power, Energy and Business Development.
The minister instructed relevant officials to submit a detailed report on unfinished projects.
During the meeting, the minister stated that in order to minimize the loss suffered by the CEB, attention must be paid to renewable energies.
State Minister of Power and renewable Energy Champika Premadasa, Ministry Secretary Dr. B.M.S.Batagoda, CEB General Manager A.K.Samarasinghe and senior officials of the CEB participated in this event.
