According to words of United People's Freedom Alliance Parliamentarian Udaya Gammanpila, some of their party members are acting in a manner to tamper their wide alliance with President Maithripala Sirisena, and therefore should be cautious in dealing with these dangerous people.

Mr. Gammanpila said that the party has already been betrayed by some members by joining the United National Party (UNP), while some of them are tumour to the party for their role played within the party, backing those who oppose them.

Political analysts point out that the Sri Lanka Podujana Party (SLPP) is being infiltrated by small other parties who happen to raise a huge anti Basil Rajapakse agenda, to which what Mr. Gammanpila speaks of is added in an anonymous form.
