Minister of Power, Energy and Business Development, Ravi Karunanayake yesterday (10) joined ‘Sirikotha Gamata’ program in the Kalutara district.
Sirikotha Gamata program was launched in the Kalutara district, and the inaugural ceremony was held in Thotawatta, Panadura under the patronage of UNP leader, Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe. UNP politicians and supporters visited people in the area, and discussed their problems and concerns.
A significant number of persons obtained UNP membership yesterday.
Minister Ravi Karunanayake said: “We decided to meet people and discuss their issues with the aim of identifying and resolving their issues. The strength of the UNP is the bond between the party and people thorough which we will go forward.”
We need people who work, not those who boast, the minister emphasized.
