A black tie protest demanding solutions for the missing people

366 days have passed in the sathyagaraha carried on by the relatives of the missing people in the north. Even though a year had passed, the government had failed to provide the necessary solutions to the problems, says the protestors in front of the Mulativu District secretariat office.

The families of the missing people in Jaffna, Vavuniya, Kilinochchi, and Mannar also took part in this protest.

The protestors had lost confidence in the previous government and they show that they are losing confidence in the present government and the Tamil parties as well. They hope that the international community would intercede and provide information about their missing family members.
