Boyzone to perform in Sri Lanka

Famous Irish boy band Boyzone has confirmed Sri Lanka as the first venue of their Asian Leg tour. Boyzone celebrates their 25th anniversary this year.

Ronan, Keith, Miley and Shane are the current Boyzone members. So far Boyzone has sold over 25 million records with 7 hit studio album and 6 no.1 singles.

Their debut album ‘Said and Done’ reached no.1 spot in the UK in 1995. Boyzone’s second album ‘A Different Beat’ released in 1996 featured many hits such as ‘A Different Beats’, ‘Isn’t It A Wonder’ and their first UK no.1 single ‘Words’. Their third album ‘Where We Belong’, released in 1998, sold over 3 million copies worldwide. It contained the hit singles ‘All That I Need’, ‘Baby Can I Hold You’ and ‘No Matter What’. In 2013, to celebrate their 20th anniversary, they released their fifth album titled ‘BZ20’.

Boyzone celebrates their 25th anniversary in 2018 and they have planned a series of concerts in Asia. The tour originally included Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore. It has been announced that the first concert will be held at CR&FC ground on the 16th of August.
