It is reported that the government is pressurizing the CID to prevent it from revealing the names of those who have accepted money from Arjun Aloysisus.
Attorney General’s Department has asked the CID to prepare a B Report about persons who have allegedly accepted money from Arjun Aloysius, the owner of Perpetual Treasuries. But persons of various levels of the government are pressurizing the CID to prevent them from revealing the names of those who have accepted money.
Attorney General’s Department says that the names of those who are involved in the bond scam must be revealed. Both the Attorney General and the Attorney General’s Department are of the opinion that these names must be revealed.
But the CID hesitates to do so because of the pressure they are subjected to. Although the story about a list of 118 MPs who have accepted money is untrue, several powerful political figures are involved in it. They are pressurizing the CID with the support of every party they can obtain support from to prevent the CID from revealing their names.
This pressure is so powerful even the high ranking officers of CID are also affected by it.
We wonder what to say, other than ‘Watath niyarath goyam ka nam, kata pawasam e amaruwa’.
