All necessary plans have been prepared to make the National People’s Power (NPP) the foremost people’s force in the country, said Leader of the NPP MP Anura Kumara Dissanayake, attending the opening event of the District National Executive Council in Kandy today (06).
As of now the formation of the District Executive Council has commenced upon the election of the National Executive Council, the NPP Leader noted.
Many parties, including critics, analysts and advisors, are demonstrating their anxiousness over the NPP’s assembly for power in their newspaper columns and other media spaces, but the NPP is very disciplined and fast in its path to organising the people, MP Dissanayake emphasised.
He added that the formation of the District Executive Councils will enable the NPP to be expanded to the divisional level and to be transformed into a political force capable of gaining power in the country.
