Vajira Abeywardena sworn in as a Member of Parliament

United National Party Chairman Vajira Abeywardena was sworn in as a Member of Parliament today (27).

Vajira Abeywardena was nominated by the United National Party for the position of National List Member of United National Party, which became vacant after Ranil Wickramasinghe assumed the office of President and the Election Commission had issued the related gazette announcement a few days ago.
