Committee drops bribery charges against former Minister Nimal Siripala De Silva

Former Minister Nimal Siripala De Silva has been released from the allegation of attempted bribery from a Japanese company enrolled in a construction project at the Katunayake Bandaranaike International Airport.

The three-member Committee appointed by President Ranil Wickremesinghe in this regard has dropped the charges against the former Minister.

The committee reports were handed over to the President’s Secretary and the matter was discussed at the Cabinet meeting yesterday (01).
