Date:

The Energy Minister has agreed to issue a fuel licence to tourists, migrant workers and dual citizens who are paying in US Dollars at the Airport.

The move will be made based on a concept by Foreign Employment Minister Manusha Nanayakkara. The Energy Minister agreed to the proposal made by the Foreign Employment Minister at the Cabinet.

The Cabinet has also approved two more proposals by Nanayakkara to encourage remittances sent by Sri Lankans living overseas legally through the banking system, the Minister’s official Facebook page said.
