September 29, Colombo (LNW): The Jana Aragala Sandhanaya (People’s Struggle Alliance) is preparing to stage a series of protests across a week in November, with the rising cost of living expected to feature prominently among the issues raised.
The announcement was made by Duminda Nagamuwa, a member of the Alliance’s National Executive Committee, who said preparations were under way for the planned campaign.
The protest programme is expected to focus attention on economic pressures affecting the public, particularly the increasing burden of everyday expenses on households.
