Litro Gas Speeds Up Islandwide LPG Distribution as New Shipments Arrive

October 20, Colombo (LNW): Litro Gas Lanka Limited has announced that the distribution of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) is being accelerated across Sri Lanka, with supply operations continuing smoothly as fresh consignments arrive in the country.

The state-run gas vendor confirmed that the vessel Francois reached Sri Lanka on October 18, carrying 3,900 metric tonnes of LPG. Unloading activities are currently in progress, paving the way for the consignment to be channelled into the domestic distribution network.

Further strengthening the country’s gas supply, the fourth vessel carrying LPG, Corinthian, is expected to arrive on October 22 with an additional 3,900 metric tonnes. The incoming shipment is expected to provide further support for distribution activities as the company works to maintain supplies to consumers.

Litro Gas stated that these deliveries would help improve supply stability throughout the island and facilitate the continued distribution of LPG to the market. The company also expressed confidence that the incoming stocks would support regular supply operations and help prevent disruptions or shortages.

With the latest consignments being incorporated into the distribution process, attention remains focused on ensuring that households, businesses and other consumers continue to receive gas supplies without interruption.
