Industry Minister Wimal Weerawansa, who has been waging an internal insurgency within the government for the past few months, now seems to be retreating from his rebellious approach.
He has not appeared in the media for the past few days.
When he arrived to start work yesterday (03), he was seen refusing to answer any questions asked by journalists regarding the internal conflict in the government.
The prominent leaders of this rebellious group in the government were Ministers Wimal Weerawansa, Udaya Gammanpila, and Vasudeva Nanayakkara.
