Ex-convict Duminda Silva who was arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) while receiving treatments at the Sri Jayawardenapura Hospital has been handed over to the prison authorities.
Accordingly, the former MP is further being treated at the hospital under the prison authorities’ watch.
The arrest was made in compliance with the Supreme Court order issued yesterday (31) suspending the presidential pardon granted to Silva.
The Court also ordered that his passport be handed over to the Court.
