Basil Rajapaksa to leave for US soon!

National Organiser of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) former Finance Minister Basil Rajapaksa is set to leave for the United States at the end of this week, sources claimed.

In a previous report we disclosed that the former Minister will be announcing his resignation from his parliament membership tomorrow (09).

Following resignation, Rajapaksa is set to hold a special briefing and explain the situation.

The SLPP Founder will leave for the US for a short period of time later this week and is expected to return to work full time to reorganise the Party, according to sources.
