Basil’s visit to India postponed

It is reported that the official visit of the Minister of Finance Basil Rajapaksa to India which was scheduled to take place from the 10th to the 12th of January has been postponed.

He was speaking to the media yesterday (07).

Earlier on November 30, Basil Rajapaksa visited India and held discussions with several parties, including the Indian Finance Minister. As a result, India is preparing to provide a US $ 1.9 billion economic package to Sri Lanka.
