August 01, Colombo (LNW): The University Grants Commission (UGC) has officially published the Z-score cut-off marks for admission to state universities based on the results of the 2025 G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination.
The release of the cut-off marks marks a key stage in the university admissions process, enabling thousands of eligible students to determine whether they have secured places in their preferred degree programmes at state universities across the country.
Applicants can now compare their individual Z-scores with the minimum admission requirements for their chosen courses and institutions.
Those who meet or exceed the prescribed cut-off marks will be eligible for selection, subject to the UGC’s admission procedures and district-based allocation criteria.
