Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) MP Hesha Withanage speaking to a briefing held in Colombo today (19) revealed that a group of powerful Cabinet Ministers are developing a plan to overthrow the government.
In the backdrop, Leader of the Opposition Sajith Premadasa has the capability to change the government via a swapping members in Parliament, the MP went on, adding that however, this is not the time for such a seizure of power and that in order to build the country, the government should hold an election and give the people the chance to choose their leader.
The government has fallen into a state in which it cannot continue to administer the country by fooling the people anymore, he added.
The moment of the Rajapaksas being chased away by the people for trying to solve problems by planting bombs in the churches are not far away, the SJB MP warned.
