The final rites of veteran singer Dr. Nanda Malini will be performed at 5.00 p.m. today at the Borella Cemetery.
Religious ceremonies will be held at her residence at 10.00 a.m.
A large number of people arrived from last night until the early hours of this morning to pay their last respects to the veteran singer.
Her remains are currently lying in state at the Nanda Malini Music Academy on Vijayaba Mawatha, Nugegoda, where the public can pay their final respects until 3.30 p.m. today.
Dr. Nanda Malini passed away at the age of 82.
President Anura Kumara Dissanayake paid his last respects to her remains yesterday evening.
A large number of singers, artists, athletes and politicians have also visited the Music Academy to pay their final respects to the legendary singer.
