September 01, Colombo (LNW): Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Roshan Amarasinghe has been appointed as the new Director of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).
The appointment was made to fill the vacancy created by former CID Director Shani Abeysekara, who was promoted to the rank of Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG).
