September 06, Colombo (LNW): President Anura Kumara Dissanayake is set to take part in a series of public rallies beginning today, as the Government steps up its engagement with communities across the country.
Held under the theme “Two years strong. Progress for all,” the programme will get underway in the Kalutara District, with two gatherings planned for this afternoon.
The first event is scheduled to take place in Bulathsinhala at 2.00 p.m., before the President moves to Beruwala for a second rally at 3.30 p.m.
The opening phase of the programme is expected to provide an opportunity for the administration to highlight its progress over the past two years while outlining its priorities for the period ahead.
