September 17, Colombo (LNW): Colombo will become a meeting point for digital innovators, marketers, entrepreneurs and technology specialists from across the region when Digital Summit Asia Sri Lanka 2026 gets underway next month.

The two-day event, organised by the Digital Marketers Association of Sri Lanka (DMASL), is scheduled for October 01 and 02 at Water’s Edge, bringing together professionals from a range of industries under the theme “The Epicentre”.

The summit is designed to strengthen Sri Lanka’s links with Asia’s rapidly evolving digital economy by creating opportunities for industry leaders and emerging professionals to exchange ideas, develop partnerships and discuss new approaches to technology-driven business.

Artificial intelligence, the creator economy, brand development, storytelling, innovation and the changing nature of digital advertising are expected to feature prominently throughout the programme. Sessions will include keynote speeches, practical workshops, panel discussions, roundtables and interactive forums.

Tourism and the digital economy will also receive attention, with discussions examining how destinations, hotels and experience-based businesses can use digital platforms and emerging technologies to engage travellers and build stronger brands.

The international speaker roster is expected to add a distinctly regional dimension to the event, with representatives and industry figures associated with organisations including TikTok, Uber, Publicis Groupe, Yell Worldwide, Voxxy Media and Dot Media.

The summit is being coordinated by the DMASL leadership team, headed by President Arjun Jegar, alongside Vice Presidents and Summit Co-Chairs Gayathri Seneviratne and Shalendra Mendis, Secretary Udara Dharmasena and Treasurer Muhammed Gazzaly.

Maharaja Media Network will serve as the event’s Official Electronic Media Partner.

With digital technologies continuing to reshape marketing, commerce and consumer behaviour, organisers expect the summit to offer professionals an opportunity to examine emerging trends and consider how businesses in Sri Lanka and elsewhere in Asia can adapt to the next phase of digital transformation.
