Dr. Rukshan Bellana elected as Vice President of CMASL

Dr Rukshan Bellana elected as Vice President of the College of Medical Administrators of Sri Lanka (CMASL), the most prestigious and strongest academical medical professional association in Sri Lanka, elected its office bearers last Saturday (28th) at Jaik Hilton, at its Annual General Meeting. Medical directors of various hospitals in the government as well as in the private sector formulated the membership of this powerful organisation.
The other main office bearers elected are as follows,

President – Dr Lal Panapitiya (Deputy director general of Health Services)

President elect – Dr Kumara Wickramasinghe (Deputy director general)

Vice president – Dr Rukshan Bellana (National Hospital)

Secretary – Dr Samindi Samarakoon (Director NCD)

Treasurer – Dr Kapila Wickramanayake (Director Medical Supplies Division)

Editor – Dr Priyantha Athapaththu (Director Tertiary Care)

Assistant secretary – Dr Arjuna Thilakaratne (Director Peradeniya Teaching)

Assistant treasurer – Dr Pradeep Rathnasekara (Director National Hospital)
