Assault on Medical Students: Minister Arundika’s son surrenders to Ragama Police

The son of State Minister Arundika Fernando has surrendered to the Ragama Police Station last night (02) in connection with the assault on a group of students at the Ragama Medical Faculty, reports say.

He is a 23-year-old resident of Dankotuwa, Walawwatta who has surrendered to the Ragama Police through a lawyer.

The Ragama Police also seized a BMW belonging to the suspects in the Kalubowila area.

Accordingly, 07 persons have been arrested in connection with the attack and they are to be produced before the Welisara Magistrate’s Court for an identification parade.
