ASPI at Stock Exchange records significant gains

Colombo (LNW): The All Share Price Index (ASPI) measured by the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) has recorded significant gains today (04) with the index gaining 218.22 points to close business at 11,374.64 points, thereby marking a 1.96 per cent surge compared to the previous business day.

Meanwhile, the Standard & Poor’s Sri Lanka 20 (S&P SL20) index has gained 80.98 points to close at 3,234.63 points, indicating a surge of 2.57 per cent compared to the day before.

The turnover is recorded at Rs. 3.3 billion.
