Fitch Ratings Affirms ‘C’ Rating for SriLankan Airlines’ Government-Guaranteed Bonds

May 10, Colombo (LNW): Fitch Ratings has maintained its ‘C’ rating on SriLankan Airlines Limited’s (SLA) USD 175 million government-guaranteed 7% unsecured bonds scheduled to mature on June 25, 2024.

The rating is underpinned by the unconditional and irrevocable guarantee provided by the government of Sri Lanka, whose Long-Term Foreign-Currency Issuer Default Rating stands at ‘RD’.
