Opposition to table no-confidence motion against Finance Minister Basil Rajapaksa?

Date:

Finance Minister Basil Rajapaksa has committed a breach of trust and therefore an action will be taken in this regard, said Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) MP Tissa Attanayake, speaking to media yesterday (13).

This decision will be taken in view of the financial situation of the country, where as a number of factors, including failure to take any action to manage the crisis and failure to appear in Parliament to inform about the country’s economic situation, have been considered, the SJB MP revealed.

Accordingly, the Management Committee of the SJB will be taking an action in this regard, Attanayake added.
