The Election Commission of Sri Lanka has announced the final results for the Kandy District, where the National People’s Power (NPP) claimed a decisive win with over 64% of the vote share.
- National People’s Power (NPP): 500,596 votes, securing 9 seats
- Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB): 145,939 votes, securing 2 seats
- New Democratic Front (NDF): 50,889 votes, securing 1 seat
- Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP): 15,762 votes
- Sarvajana Balaya (SRJB): 14,540 votes
