The Minister of Agriculture Mahindananda Aluthgamage has stated that the present government cannot be overthrown no matter what the opposition politicians say or do.
“We are well aware of this difficulty. We are well aware of the burden. As a sensitive government, we accept that responsibility. Give us a little time. When three or four members of parliament say one thing or another when Sajith Premadasa brings people to the Galle Face Green they think that the government will fall. We give the people of this country the assurance that this government cannot be overthrown ”
Minister Mahindananda Aluthgamage stated this addressing a meeting of the Sri Lanka People’s Front held yesterday (21).
