SL seeks another US$ 250 million debt from Bangladesh

Sri Lanka has reportedly sought another US$ 250 million debt from Bangladesh as an exchange swap.

The debt facility has been sought by the External Affairs Minister of Bangladesh who has arrived in Sri Lanka to attend the BIMSTEC Summit in Colombo.

Earlier, Bangladesh provided a US$ 200 million swap and its repayment period has been extended.
