Senthil Thondaman has been elected as the new leader of the Ceylon Workers Congress, at the national council meeting held in Kottagala today (30).
Jeevan Thondaman will be continuing to serve as the Secretary General of the Party.
Meanwhile, MP Rameshwaram has been elected as the Party Chairperson.
