The Government suffers the consequences of feeding racism and religionism (VIDEO)

The government today is suffering from the curse of feeding racism, separation among nations and religionism, said Leader of the Opposition Sajith Premadasa, attending the seventh phase of the ‘Sakwala’ Project undertaken by the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) at the Erukkalampiddy Mahaleer Muslim College, Mannar yesterday (08).

The government which had catered to divisions among the people before the Elections is now being decimated from the consequences, he noted.

Pointing out that the country has now been reshaped with vulnerability and malnutrition, the Opposition Leader question how would the government that is unable to provide solutions to online education provide solutions to malnutrition.

He added that the need of a national nutrition policy is pivotal unlike ever before and promised that a SJB government will definitely establish one.

The Opposition Leader donated digital computer screens and computer equipment worth Rs. 750,000 for classrooms at the Erukkalampiddy Mahaleer Muslim College, Mannar yesterday.

The ‘Sakwala’ project aims at providing digital computer screens and equipment as a modern concept for a generation of children who are gifted with the latest technology.
