September 10, Colombo (LNW): Former Minister Duminda Dissanayake and another woman have been formally indicted before the Colombo High Court over a case involving the discovery of a gold-plated firearm.
The indictments were presented to the two accused when the matter came before the court today, marking the latest development in the proceedings.
After the indictments were filed, the High Court judge granted bail to both accused, including the former minister.
The case centres on the circumstances surrounding the discovery of the gold-plated firearm. Further hearings are expected to take place before the Colombo High Court as the legal proceedings continue.
