Fuel Prices Rise as New CEYPETCO Rates Take Effect

October 01, Colombo (LNW): Motorists are paying more at the pump from today (October 01), following the latest fuel price revision announced by the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CEYPETCO).

The sharpest increase has been imposed on Super Diesel, with its retail price rising by Rs. 50 to Rs. 528 a litre. The price adjustment also pushes up the cost of Auto Diesel and 92 Octane petrol.

Auto Diesel now sells for Rs. 392 per litre after an increase of Rs. 10, while Petrol 92 Octane has gone up by Rs. 15 to Rs. 414 per litre.

Prices of the other two products covered by the revision remain unchanged. Petrol 95 Octane continues to be sold at Rs. 475 a litre, while kerosene remains at Rs. 285.

The revised CEYPETCO prices are as follows:

  • Auto Diesel: Rs. 392 per litre
  • Super Diesel: Rs. 528 per litre
  • Petrol 92 Octane: Rs. 414 per litre
  • Petrol 95 Octane: Rs. 475 per litre
  • Kerosene: Rs. 285 per litre

Lanka IOC (LIOC) has also adjusted its retail prices in line with the latest rates announced by the CEYPETCO.
