Ex UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon to visit SL

Former Secretary General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon is set to visit Sri Lanka on February 06, on an invitation by President Ranil Wickremesinghe, revealed President’s Senior Advisor on Climate Change Ruwan Wijewardena.

The former UN Secretary General is also set to sign several agreements related to sustainable development in the island nation as well as related to climate change.

Meanwhile, Ban Ki-moon is also expected to hold several discussions on the establishment of the proposed Climate Change University in Sri Lanka.
