Tragic Suicide of Police Officer Using Service Firearm

In a devastating incident this morning, a 54-year-old police officer tragically took his own life by using his service firearm. The incident occurred between 6:00 – 7:00 a.m., as confirmed by the police spokesman.

The officer had been on duty at the Peliyagoda expressway interchange the previous night.
