Foreign Minister Ali Sabry to Attend World Economic Forum’s Special Meeting in Riyadh

April 26, Colombo (LNW): Foreign Minister Ali Sabry is set to embark on a journey to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to participate in the World Economic Forum’s Special Meeting on Global Cooperation, Growth, and Energy for Development, scheduled to commence on April 28. This gathering, convened by the World Economic Forum, aims to assemble leaders from various sectors and industries for a comprehensive dialogue on pressing global issues.

During his visit, Minister Sabry will contribute as a panelist in two sessions titled ‘Building the Urban Future’ and ‘North to South, East to West: Rebuilding Trust.’ These sessions offer a platform for discussing critical topics and fostering meaningful exchanges of ideas.

In addition to his participation in the forum, Minister Sabry will engage in bilateral meetings with counterparts from several countries, including the host nation, Saudi Arabia. Moreover, he plans to connect with the Sri Lankan community in Riyadh and pay a visit to the Sri Lankan International School, underscoring the importance of fostering ties with the diaspora and supporting educational initiatives abroad.
